I am one of those people who loves to have eggs but I cannot stand the smell that they leave behind on dishes. I have tried everything, from soaking the dishes in some vinegar, lemon juice, leaving them in water for at least a day hoping the smell will wear off slowly.
None of these tricks work instantly,,,until one day I was making some recipe that asked for eggs and milk to be added together. Surprisingly the smell on the dishes was gone.
So there you go, from that moment on I store some off dated milk in the fridge handy....for this specific task . You could use fresh milk but its a waste to splash good milk on dishes so milk that's off or expired works wonders. It cuts off the smell right away.
Have a go at it and let me know if this works for you, if you are like me and cannot stand the smell of eggs on washed dishes that is :)
